About Villa San Clementito


  • A 4,000 square foot, 3 bedroom home with modern conveniences and, at 5500 feet above sea level in Tepoztlan, Morelos, Mexico, the Villa offers singular mountain and valley views.
  • The Villa affords many unique and inviting spaces where you can rest, read, meditate, enjoy the sunshine, or take in the views.
  • Villa San Clementito and a second larger home, Hacienda Clemente Jacques, form Tepoztlan-Vacation-Rentals.com in a ten acre walled and gated compound. On-site staff and management  reside in separate homes in the compound.
  • Guests of Villa San Clementito and Hacienda Clemente Jacques have access to the compound's private tennis court.
  • A short 5-minute drive from Tepoztlan and even closer to the town of Amatlan.

    •  $400.00* per night or $2500.00 per  week for up to 6 guests.
    • Add $50 per night or $250 weekly for  each additional guest. Two additional guests maximum subject to advance approval.
    • 50% non-refundable payment required  to secure reservation.

    Miscellaneous:

    • $500.00 refundable damage deposit  required
    • Children age two and over counted as  paying guests
    • Three night minimum (Five night  minimum during holiday period)
    • Add 25% to rates during holiday periods  (New Year’s, Easter, Mardi Gras, Day of  the Dead, Christmas).

Where is Tepoztlan


Tepoztlan is south of Mexico City. Driving distance is 50 miles.


Travel time from the airport in Mexico City is 1 to 1 1/2 hours by taxi or rental car, which include large SUVs.


Some guests opt to take the Pullman luxury bus service from the airport to nearby Cuernavaca, followed by a short 20 minute taxi ride to Tepoztlan.



How to Get Around in Tepoztlan


The Villa is a short 5 minute taxi ride from Tepoztlan.


Taxis are moderately priced in Mexico. Car fare between Tepoztlan and the Villa is approximately $5.00 USD and should be agreed to in advance.


Public transportation, locally known as "combis" or "peseros," similar to the VW buses of yesteryear, drive past the Villa every 15 to 20 minutes. Fare to Tepoztlan or nearby Amatlan is about 50 cents USD.


Rental cars are available at the Mexico City airport, as well as close by Cuernavaca.

    Due to Covid-19, we are taking a number of precautions, including those listed below. These are subject to change as conditions permit.

    • We are observing three days of vacancy between departing and the next arriving guests for cleaning and disinfecting purposes.
    • Staff is using masks around guests. 
    • A sanitization mat and sanitizing gel is available at the entrance to the home.
    • A thermometer is available for guest and visitor use.
    • Upon your arrival, staff will disinfect the exterior of your luggage prior to taking it into the home.
    • Staff will take the garbage out each day, including from the bedrooms. Bed-making will be left to the guests, but staff will  change sheets once weekly.
    • Staff lives on-site in separate homes and are not using public transportation at this time.
    • Staff will wash dishes twice each day at times pre-arranged with guests.
    • Maximum occupancy for overnight guests capped at 6 persons.
    • Maximum number of day visitors has been reduced to four persons absent prior approval from on-site management.
    • We ask that your wear masks upon arrival and departure, as well as other times when staff is in the area, except of course if you are eating or drinking.
